Answer
·  How can I join the society?

Entrance into the Society is by passing a singing audition, please bring a piece of music with which you feel comfortable. Auditions are held several times a year.

If you are interested in working backstage, you are not required to audition.

For further details, please phone our Secretary, Jo Pearson, on 01789 296123, e- mail at jopearson1@hotmail.com

·  Where do we meet?

Generally, we meet at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse on a Wednesday evening. During the run of rehearsals for a show, depending on how big a part you play in the show, you may be required to rehearse several nights a week.

There is plenty of car parking space.

·  Subscriptions

Subscriptions are £30 a year (£15 a year for students in full-time education). If you feel that you would have difficulty in meeting the subscription charge, a request to waive the fees will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. All applications are judged on merit.

·  How can I be in a show?

Before rehearsals can start, we have to select our company and principals. We usually have a few meetings before auditions to familiarise ourselves with the music and story.

Those interested in a principal part are asked to sing, act and dance (as the part requires). The auditions are usually held in the evening.

For those wishing to be a part of the chorus, there is a more general audition involving singing and movement (as appropriate).

Details of auditions are available from the Secretary, Jo Pearson, 01789 265123, e- mail at jopearson1@hotmail.com and on our website.
